No password needed to access the downloadable materials. All are PDF, so you will need Foxit PDF reader (a free, 2.55 Mbyte download) or the Adobe pdf reader or Ghostscript 8.53 and gsview-4.8 to read and print them. Install gs853w32.exe first, then gsv48w32.exe, and make sure to click on "associate ps and pdf files" when installing. A CDROM containing all of these things will be put on reserve in the library during the second week of class.

Get a free DJVU file viewer from Sourceforge, or from http://djvu.org/resources/. DJVU is very highly compressed, and loads 4-5 times faster than PDF over network connections.

Physics 201 is calculus based. Please review elementary differential calculus, it will be used routinely in the course. A review is online, and is included in the downloadable notes.

The lab book is a free download (see the links to the left). Do not buy a lab book from the bookstore.
