Tools
- Resistance versus temperature program for Stephan-Boltzman lab.
- power output versus T calc script to compute radiated power versus temperature beween 0.5 and 25 micrometer wavelengths.
- Molecular viewer source WIN32 executable and a collection of molecular and crystal XYZ files, to visualize 3-D crystal structures studied in the electron diffraction lab.
- MSYS gri complete installation copy to C:\\msys\1.0\ and do "tar xvzf gri-bin-msys.tgz" to install.
- MSYS plotutils installation, with graph and libplot. Do the same to install.
- sample gri plotting script
- gri manual. Get gri (the bin and dep files) from gnuwin32. I recommend downloading popt (bin) as well, and copy the etc/popt file to msys/1.0/etc/popt. If you don't want to download and install all of those dll's, try this gribin2.tgz version that I cross-compiled for TARGET mingw32 on my Linux machine, and tested in Windows2000. It is statically compiled (imports no dll's). Download it to C:/msys/1.0/, open an msys terminal, cd to this directory, and type tar xvzf gribin2.tgz which will decompress and install the executables and docs. None of the WIN32 versions seem to like "create columns from function", none can write data to a tmp file, so that functionality is not available on WIN32 machines.
- Data analyzer. for Planck constant lab.
- Least-squares nth-order polynomial curve fitting program for lab data.
- Plotutils cross-compiled on Linux for Windows . Libraries and header files, not executables. If you just want to use graph, see this link. For instructions on how to use graph see How to use graph . Libraries, headers and executables for WIN32 can be found here; gnuwin32.sourceforge.net. There is a link to the homepage for the UNIX sources.
- g2 libraries and headers for Windows. You will need these to compile the simulations on the 441 web page. The g2 home is g2.sourceforge.net.
- Statistical data analysis handbook.
